>2007 Training …
Ekhô is a duo Pop / Rock / Electro formed in 2007.
Composed of Jeremy Hallermeyer (guitar, lead vocals and piano) and Xavier Potieris (battery, 2nd voice and machinery), the two musicians met themselves to an improvised rehearsal February 2007, and decided to mount an ambitious-sounding rock and electro.
The success is locally real, and the duo signed his first contract after only 4 months of existence, with the label Syncope to launch a Maxi 6 tracks which will be called “Rebirth.”

>2008 Basics …
This first EP released in February 2008 and will focus the group on a tour of nearly 100 concerts across France and Belgium. The duo plot by its originality and its sound.
Ekhô, it’s only two persons on stage, and it’s as much original than the 2 musicians are multi-instrumentalists.
The beginning of the year is also marked by the participation of the duo, in springboard Fallenfest. The group managed to climb to the semi-finals, which will allow Ekhô to occur on the scene very coveted of the Trabendo in Paris.

In June 2008 the duo drew the attention JP Hourglass (presenter on Virgin Radio), who gives them much encouragement. This meeting will allow the group to record the title “Chaotic Brain” and gives bases for an Ekho more stronger and more rock.
The Duo is therefore released on numerous radios and begin composing an album.

>2009 Gear …
Ekhô appears on stages and the growing reputation of the duo will enable them to occur in recognized rooms like the “Houseboat Excellsior”, “John Carmet” or “the Oasis” face to more than a thousand people in the first part of the group Dub’inc.

In April, Jeremy and Xavier decided to launch a post-production as Hole for measuring the public’s enthusiasm. The one is immediate and reinforces the group in the idea it is time to record his first album.

It will be at the end of October that Ekhô enter in studio just to finish at the end of December.

>2010 The future …
The 1st of January 2010 marks the end of the recording and gave birth in the album “Twin Sides” – 14 tracks in digipack 3 parts.
The public demand and the communication of the duo is bearing fruit and attracts the attention of Eden Music Label which decides to launch a preview of one of the tracks on the album: “Second Life”.

The album was released February 11, 2010 and the tour promises to be even more explosive than ever.
Multiplying promotions, Eden Music allows to be visible on all digital platforms like iTunes, Amazon, Deezer. … And gives the duo to a solid structure that can carry them still higher.

>2007 La formation…

Composé de HALLERMEYER Jérémy (guitare, chant lead et piano) et POTIERIS Xavier (batterie, 2ème voix et machines) les deux musiciens se rencontrent au cours d’une répétition improvisée en février 2007, et décident de monter un projet ambitieux aux sonorités rock et electro.
Le succès est immédiat au niveau local, et le duo signe son premier contrat après seulement 4 mois d’existence, avec le label Syncope pour le lancement d’un Maxi 6 titres qui s’intitulera « Rebirth ».

>2008 Les bases…
Ce premier Maxi sort en février 2008 et portera le groupe sur une tournée de près de 100 concerts à travers la France et la Belgique. Le duo intrigue par son originalité et le son qu’il produit.
En apparaissant qu’à deux sur scène, Ekhô marque son originalité d’autant que les 2 musiciens sont multi-instrumentistes.
Le début de l’année est également marquée par la participation du duo, au tremplin « Fallenfest ». Le groupe parvient à se hisser jusqu’en demi-finale, ce qui permettra à Ekhô de se produire sur la scène très convoitée du Trabendo à Paris.

Le duo attire l’attention en juin 2008 de J.P Sablier (animateur sur Virgin Radio) qui leur donne de nombreux encouragements. Cette rencontre permettra au groupe d’enregistrer le titre « Chaotic Brain » et donne les bases d’un Ekhô plus affirmé et plus rock.
Le Duo est diffusé dès lors sur de nombreuses radios et entame la composition d’un album.

>2009 La vitesse supérieure…
Ekhô s’affiche sur de nombreuses scènes et la notoriété grandissante du duo va leur permettre de se produire sur des salles reconnues comme la « Péniche Excellsior » ,« Jean Carmet » ou encore « l’ Oasis » devant plus d’un millier de personnes, en première partie du groupe Dub’inc.

En avril, Jeremy et Xavier décident de lancer une post-production du titre Hole pour mesurer l’engouement du public. Ce dernier est immédiat et conforte le groupe dans l’idée qu’il est temps d’enregistrer son premier album.

Ce sera donc fin octobre que Ekhô entrera en studio pour n’en ressortir que fin décembre.

>2010 L’avenir…
Le 1er janvier 2010 marque la fin de l’enregistrement et le duo donne naissance à l’album « Twin Sides » – 14 titres dans un digipack de 3 volets.
La demande du public et la communication du duo porte ses fruits et attire l’attention du Label Ede
